Suleiman Fayez Al-Adham came to Aqaba on February 18, 1950, to work for his brother and cousin, who were working as contractors for the British Army at the time. He worked in the gift, clothing, and electrical shop that was available at that time, and work and sales were limited to the British Army camp. In 1956, after the British army evacuated, he, with the support of his brother, opened the shop for sale to residents of the city, whose population at that time did not exceed five thousand people, with the same store assets of radios, utensils, gifts, toys, and clothing. With the development of the city and the increase in population and the interest of the government and official authorities in the city of Aqaba, the only port for the Kingdom, with that trend, the major transport companies, banks and all service institutions began to head to Aqaba. At that time, the growth and development of Suleiman Al-Adham’s store increased and he introduced all the requirements and kept pace with diversity and development first-hand in the field of electrical appliances trade. Refrigeration equipment and electrical extensions, as it was the first and only store working in this field in the Aqaba region, if not in the entire southern region.
